A great spot to get used tires at an extremely reasonable price that are still high quality with great tread. The staff is friendly and courteous, and after being here now twice, I can also say they are incredibly reliable and have a vast array of tires to fit anyone's needs.

These guys were helpful. I went to the big tire stores and they would not help. They wanted me to buy a new tire. At Akron General Tires, they came out on a cold and overcast morning and fixed the tire I had with a slow leak. They told me if anything happened in 2 weeks to stop back by. I appreciate their help.

📌 SHORTY IS HONEST Ñ FAIR CALL | COME HERE FIRST My review is based on my own personal experience. I needed tires replaced during my one hour work break.. The first time I came in was after I purchased my car looking for 4 Newer tires for winter. The owner told me my tread was fine. He said i did not need to buy tires. He instantly earned my respect for honesty. This is rare these days with some mechanics. They will replace stuff when there is no need to. The second time I came in was because I had a hole in my tire and was tired of putting air in it under freezing weather or rain. This time I called their competitor a few blocks over. I wasn’t for sure if this place patched tires so I gave them a call. Yes! Not only was he able to patch my tire during lunch… it’s been over a year and the seal never leaked. I suggest them to my family and friends. AKRON GENERAL TIRES has earned my loyalty for life! 💎 . Updated 8/8/2026 Roofers left me a gift. I know a guy who can fix it!
